This is the last of 8 of these I got in the early 1970's. This is the only one I never used. NOTE the break on the bracket. See the photos.

This is the last of 8 of these I got in the early 1970's. 
This is the only one I never used. 
NOTE the break on the bracket.   
My best reading of the plate is: G042O 1 5. 
My best reading of the bracket: KEL-5__518-A 
It does turn what seems ok, there is tension on it bue to the external spring. 
I would highly reccomend disassembly and cleaning it before using, a new lip seal would desirable. 
The photos show the break of one ear on the mounting bracket, experienced welders oe mechanics will know how to repair that.

German tuning firm Alpina has been tweaking BMWs since it started back in 1965 – in fact, it helped BMW develop the legendary 3.0 CSL, so it seems it knows its onions. However, its latest effort is something a little different. Not quite a conventional performance car, the 2013 Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo is actually the world’s fastest diesel production car, according to the firm.
