1940-1953 Buick Straight 8 NOS lower choke heat tube 1308020

Product Description

NOS genuine GM lower choke heat tube (in exhaust manifold), part number 1308020.

This fits:

  • 1940 - 1952 Buick Special, Super, Century, Roadmaster and Limited (Series 40, 50, 60, 70 and 90)
  • 1953 Buick Special (Series 40)

Brand new, but outer cellophane part of the parts tag is gone (the part with the numbers on it), leaving just the blank white "under"-tag. I'm pretty sure I've got this correct, but check the length on yours, as I couldn't put my hands on an exhaust manifold (before I wrote this) to compare.

Shipping - Payment

A few words to make things easier.

1. Combined shipping for multiple auctions is always available, but when the auction is over, you will have to wait until I revise things in my eBay "paperwork" to create just one invoice for all your purchased auctions.  And I have to do the revising BEFORE you pay.  If auctions are paid separately (i.e. before you receive my invoice combining items), eBay will no longer then let me combine them on one invoice.  AND, eBay then automatically charges you separate shipping charges for each item, which is not refunded.  Again, this is eBay's set-up.  Combining auctions benefits you by saving you shipping and handling fees.

2. Payment is expected within 3 days.  After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded.  If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen.  Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.

Thanks for your bid.

Sebring swap: Chrysler will call its 2011 sedan the 200

Tue, 14 Sep 2010

The Chrysler Sebring will get a fresh start late this year as it relaunches with a new name, the 200, and considerable upgrades to the engines, sheetmetal and interior. The 200 gets a new grille with a prominent Chrysler badge, new fascia front and rear, projector headlamps and fog lamps and LED taillights. The new engines to be offered are Chrysler's Pentastar V6 that will make 283 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, which is slightly detuned from its uses in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Charger, and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder from Fiat's global engine bin.

Volkswagen Touran Match released

Tue, 28 Jul 2009

Volkswagen has announced the VW Touran Match It’s hard to get excited about the Touran, with its boxy profile and drab – though comfortable – interior. But it’s very practical with its three rows of seats, which can actually be removed (they aren’t too heavy) giving you a very useful van for lugging gubbins around. But the Touran is a decent enough drive, even if the ride is a bit on the firm side., and its build quality shows through in the distinct lack of shake, rattle and roll.
