1940 Chevy smooth steel running boards manufactured by Smoothie Fabrication.

Since 1989, Smoothie Fabrication has been a family owned and run business.  We have over 200 patterns, all made using TOP QUALITY 16 gauge cold rolled steel.  They are laser cut, then precision bent and tig welded in house.

These 1940 Chevy smooth steel running boards were made from our pattern that we created using a stock running board off of a customers car.  They fit flush up against the front and rear fender. They are smooth on top to give your ride that custom look.  Also, the brackets for the boards and installation instructions are included as well as over the phone consultation.

Don't be fooled by the "cheapest on Ebay."  YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR .  Don't settle for the cheapest now, only to have to return it delaying your projects completion .  We are not a cookie cutter shop, we are a fabrication shop. You will be satisfied by our quality and service.

Your 40 chevy is still here use parts that will stand the test of time. Ask your fellow hot rodders about our reputation. Handcrafted using only the best tools and materials made in America!

If you don't see the SF stamp underneath your running boards, you wont see a quality product.

Mercedes to build CLS Shooting Brake

Tue, 09 Nov 2010

Mercedes has announced that the CLS Shooting Brake, which was shown as a concept at the Beijing motor show in April 2010, will go into production in 2012.  Well, if you want a car that will turn heads around town – and find the E-class estate has a little too much room – then this is the car for you. Mercedes flatly refuses to admit that the CLS Shooting Brake is an estate, preferring to call it a ‘sporty four-door coupe with a sloping tail end based on the CLS’. In essence, this car is a hatchback version of the CLS, and despite a slightly raised roof, it still sits a full 10cm lower than its E-class sibling.
