Disclaimer...Please Read (Updated 9/2013):
This car part comes from the estate of Red39ford. I am his daughter,
and I want to give you insight into this auction.
Red39ford
adored a vintage American made car, especially Fords. He was born prior to WWII, and he came
from humble beginnings. He worked tirelessly in the healthcare industry
correcting, straightening, strengthening peoples' skeletal structures
so they had looked better and felt better about themselves. He helped
many a child grow up straight and strong and with confidence about their
physical appearance. He loved his work and his patients. His
restorations of Vintage Fords was merely an extension of that love.
In my
past experience of assisting Red39ford, as he bought and sold on Ebay
Motors, I learned first-hand what a friendly and supportive community this is.
Red39ford made great working relationships with several of you...some of
you even became good friends of his. I am going to rely on that
support as it is now time to liquidate his collection. I want to do it
effectively and efficiently. My goal is two-fold: to get Dad's
treasured parts into the hands of someone who wants it and can use it; and to have a
delighted buyer in the process.
I do not have Red39ford's extensive knowledge of vintage cars; nor, do I
have his memory on the history of this particular part. I have some of
his hand-written notes, yet not enough at times to always give you the
most accurate of descriptions. I need your
help.
If you have some additional knowledge of this part that would help me
describe the item more clearly for others, please post it in the "ask
the seller a question" section. I will post your contribution to the
page in the Q & A section so all may benefit from your information.
Where I lack in giving you a perfect written description of an item, I
will try to make up for in photos of details of the item. I will list
as many parts numbers as possible.
I thank you for your understanding.
Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Your questions and our
responses will be posted on this page in the Q & A section as a way to share information with
others.

Thank you for looking at our auction.
All the best to you,

Aston Martin and AMG confirm partnership on new V8 engine
Thu, 19 Dec 2013Aston Martin and AMG working on new V8 engines The collaboration deal between Aston Martin and AMG has moved to another level with the announcement that the two companies are working on a new V8 engine for Aston Martin. Aston Martin and AMG signed a letter of intent in July to kick off their technical partnership, and the news the companies are working together on a new V8 engine – which will probably first be seen in a new V8 Vantage – is the first fruits of the deal. A statement from AML and AMG said they are planning to expand their agreement to work on sharing electronic components and will “investigate additional areas of operation”.
Peugeot 90X breaks cover
Thu, 04 Nov 2010Once a well kept secret in Peugeots Sport factory in Vélizy, near Paris, Peugeots new 2011, codenamed 90X, has been out and about for its first test at the Monza track. While the 90X complies with the new ACO's 2011 regulations, it still requires some considerable amount of work to be done to be ready for 2011. A curvier windscreen and slight change to the nose but the biggest changes are the new fin leading from the cockpit to the rear spoiler, aimed to offer more down force and avoid flipping in the case of a high speed crash.
