Exotics get sideways at Monticello's 'Drift With the Supercars'

Mon, 25 Oct 2010

Monticello Motor Club president Ari Straus and his PR guy, Roger Garbow, were brainstorming in early October and came up with what initially sounded like a crazy idea: Bring a bunch of supercars to the track for a day of drifting. BMW M1 Hommage to show at Melbourne

Mon, 05 Jan 2009

[ad#ad-1] BMW has announced that it is going to use its M1 Hommage (or Homage, if you’re not German) as the centre piece of it’s stand at the Melbourne Motor Show in February. The BMW M1 Hommage was created last year to celebrate 30 years from the M1 road car creation in 1978, and was developed by BMW’s M Division. The M1 Hommage takes many styling cues from the original M1, such as the air vents on the bonnet, the louvres on the rear window and the round decals at the extremes of the wings, but makes a distinctly 21st century take on the original.

Audi R8 Spyder leaks out

The Spyder has been seen out and about on the set of the film ‘Iron Man II’, and we had a UK Audi dealer using a picture from the set to promote orders for the R8 Spyder back in July. So it’s not new news, but the pictures are new and are obviously part of the official release set – which we’ll no doubt see later today.
