UK number plates under threat from EU
Mon, 14 Apr 2014A proposal to introduced a standardised European number plate had been revealed. If such a scheme were to go into law it would mean the end of the UK number plate as we currently know it. On Bing: see pictures of UK number plates The best and worst car number plates in the world Inserted into a wider bill designed to make it easier to register cars in different EU countries, the standardised number plate plan is the work of a Dutch Member of the European Parliament (MEP), according to the Daily Mail.
2012 Audi A3 Debuts: Geneva 2012
Tue, 06 Mar 2012New Audi A3 arrives at Geneva The all new Audi A3 has debuted at Geneva as a 3 door looking just like the current A3 – but it’s completely new. The 2012 Audi A3 has arrived at Geneva 2012, and it looks like the VW Group is starting to learn from Porsche’s designers; the new A3 is a new car but, unless you look hard, it could be the old A3. Sitting on a longer wheelbase than the current A3, which promises more room inside, and a bit wider too, the new A3 gets Audi’s square-cornered frill with large air intakes and the now familiar Audi headlights with LED running lights.
2012 Mercedes B-Class: First interior photos
Fri, 29 Jul 20112012 Mercedes B-Class Interior - first photo We’re expecting the 2012 Mercedes B-Class to be a big jump on from the current car - certainly in quality and dynamic terms – when it arrives at Frankfurt. And if the photo we’ve had in this morning of the 2012 B-Class’s interior is anything to go by, we’re not going to be too disappointed. We already know that the new B-Class is growing in size and that it will get all new engines with same direct injection as the BlueDIRECT (let’s just hope Mercedes now has the injector problems the C and E Class suffered under control) and a choice of either a six-speed manual or a new 7G-DCT ‘box, which will be a huge improvement on the dreadful rubber band box in the old B-Class.
