Two Power WIndow Switches for Hydroelecttric WIndows in GM cars

These switches are used in two cars that I have owned, a 1949 Cadillac and a 1949 Buick. They are used in other GM cars of similar vintage.  Both switches work but need to be rechromed for show. They come with the mounting brackets shown in the picture.

CAFE standard set at 54.5 mpg by 2025

The final version of the new corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standard was released today and, as expected, automakers will need to attain a fleet average of 54.5 mpg by 2025. The rules include electric and hybrid vehicles and—as of today—natural gas vehicles. The Environmental Protection Agency and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration proposed the rules in November, after reaching an agreement with automakers last July.

London to develop a Hydrogen Highway The plan is fairly small scale, but it’s a start. As part of the scheme Boris is assembling a small fleet of 150 cars, 20 black cabs and 5 buses all running on Hydrogen. In typical Boris style he said he wants Britain to become a ‘World leader in Fuel Cell Technology’ with the aim of having one in three cars in the UK running on hydrogen fuel cells in twenty years.
