This is a brand new NOS fuel flex hose that connects the fuel pump to the vehicle chassis fuel line. This hose is Cadillac parts group 12.2555, part number 1442527 for 1941 to 1948 Cadillacs. This hose is correct for 1941 to 1948 Cadillacs only, it is 8 1/4" (21 cm) long. This is not a universal replacement hose that will be too long for your Caddy. The hose is in excellent condition with just a bit of tarnish on the brass end fittings. The hose is pliable and not deteriorated in any way. Protect your classic beauty from a potential fire because of a deteriorated fuel hose.
