Condition:Used

I bought these for a future project that never came about. Here is a pair of very nice 1941-1948 Ford/Mercury steel Foxcraft fender skirts. As you can see in the photos, they have all the mounting hardware. These have the correct convex curves to match 41-48 fenders to mount evenly and look correct. One of the skirts has the original paper sticker on the inside. So this shows that these skirts had minimal road use in my opinion.  There are two very small 1” tall bends on the bottom of both skirts as seen in the photos. These are a perfect addition to and early Westergard or Barris style kustom, or add them use them on a restored Ford. Look carefully at the photos and please ask questions before bidding. Thank you!

Flexifuel allows a vehicle to run on either regular petrol or E85 – an 85/15 percent bio-ethanol/petrol blend – and automatically offsets any carbon emissions produced because more crops are always produced to meet the demand for fuel. Ford president and CEO John Fleming confirmed that the existing Focus and C-Max flexifuel cars would be joined by Mondeo, Galaxy and S-Max derivatives, which will all come on stream from early 2008.

Mercedes-Benz has uncovered the new C-Class – a model aimed at toppling the all-conquering BMW 3 Series. Benefitting from the full might of Mercedes’ technological arsenal, the new C-Class is the most advanced version yet by a clear margin… and in some respects, is the most sophisticated vehicle the junior executive class has ever seen, too. It also takes on a sleek new look, owing plenty to the highly-praised new S-Class, while the interior offers, says Mercedes, an experience akin to stepping from economy class to business class on an aircraft.

Video: Possible new Pantera spotted in Italy

Thu, 05 May 2011

A YouTube video shows what appears to be the newest evolution of the hallowed De Tomaso Pantera. Caught leaving the De Tomaso factory in Grugliasco, Italy, the heavily camouflaged two-door coupe did not muffle the brawny engine sound. The rumor mill is speculating about a V8 powerplant sourced from Ford, like the original, and an aluminum body.
