The four video ads on Jaguar's website showed a car driving at speed through a tunnel and crossing over the single white lines in the middle of a road, before driving across a mountain road at night. Chrysler CEO vows never to repeat mistakes from Cherokee launch

Chrysler Group CEO Sergio Marchionne acknowledged mistakes in the way the company developed and launched the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, and vowed to never repeat them. "What we've learned is that we'll never repeat it. We're never going to take a plant down and be out of the market for over a year," Marchionne told analysts in a conference call today.

Jeep Wrangler and Chevrolet Cruze are checked for engine fires

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into complaints that some Jeep Wrangler vehicles and Chevrolet Cruze sedans are prone to engine fires. The investigation is taking a look at the 2010 Jeep Wrangler and the 2011 Chevy Cruze. NHTSA says it has eight complaints about engine fires in the Wrangler and two complaints about the Cruze.
