1941 thru 1946 Chevy and GMC 4 each “ORIGINAL OEM” cab-over and other period truck wheels. These are not reproductions; these rims are 70 plus years old. Some trucks had them as duals on the back from the factory. They are split rim and are 20” tall by 7” wide, the split ring and the wheels are marked and paired up as they left the factory. All rims have been professionally sand blasted, professionally primed and are ready for paint. Marvelous as it is a setting for car shows, Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Mich., does present a risk: The park is built in the floodplain of the Huron River. When organizers showed up to stage this year's Orphan Car Show--the nation's largest to feature cars built by companies that no longer do business in America--on June 6, they found the judging stand underwater. An impromptu “show” throughout nearby Depot Town and at the host Miller Motors Hudson/Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum wasn't quite the same thing.
