1942 Ford Car

Stainless Steel Hub Caps (4)

Here is a set of four brand new "FORD" hub caps for your favorite ride. The digital camera can't show how nice the polished surface is. Stainless steel so no worries there. They are about 9 5/8" outside diameter. YOUR WHEELS MUST HAVE THE 5 SPRING CLIPS JUST OUTSIDE THE LUG NUTS FOR THESE TO WORK. Add some class to your car hauler? Can you picture these and a set of trim rings (I sell them too!) on red wheels? I can. I think these are nicer than the originals. They are Ford Motor Company authorized reproductions. Sorry about the camera reflections. I couldn't figure out how to sneak up on them without being seen! We stock lots of hub caps and trim rings. Lots of neat stuff in the Classic Car Goodies Store (currently over 1,000 items!). Call customer service at 303.317.4281 if you have a question. Happy Cruisin'.

GM Europe's vice president of design Mark Adams has given aspiring designers tips to stand out from the crowd with their portfolios in a Twitter Q&A session. In the video session Adams offered advice to one participant who asked, "If there was one piece of advice you would give to someone wanting to become a designer, what would it be and why?". With portfolios, he explained, it's not just about the talent, it's about having the ability to convey your thought process along the way.

Mercedes AMG has best year ever

Wed, 04 Feb 2009

With car sales plummeting in 2008 (and likely to be worse in 2009) there aren’t many bright spots around. But performance saloons are certainly one of them. As we reported back in December, BMW’s M Division had a cracking year, with sales of nearly 27,000 for the year.

Lotus Esprit James Bond car up for auction

Sat, 29 Jun 2013

The Lotus Esprit Submarine (pictured) from the James Bond 007 film is up for auction James Bond and cars go together like bacon and eggs and, with the exception of the 007 Aston Martin DB5, the Lotus Esprit ‘Submarine’ car from the Spy Who Loved Me is probably the most iconic Bond car to have hit the big screen. Piloted in the film by Roger Moore – with Mrs Ringo Starr, Barbara Bach, at his side – the underwater version of the Esprit, one of six used in the film, was affectionately know to the crew as ‘Wet Nellie’ and actually piloted for the underwater scenes by former SEAL Don Griffin, who worked as a test pilot for the creators of the Esprit Submarine - Perry Oceanographic. After filming ended it was sent of to a storage unit in Long Island, ten years rent was paid upfront but, when the 10 year rent period ended, no one stepped forward to claim the contents at they were sold off for a song to a local couple.
