Up for bid are a used matched pair of 1942 - 1947 Cadillac Sun Visors as pictured.

They were removed from a 1947 Series 60S Fleetwood Cadillac.

Both are in very solid condition with no broken cores, the fabric is original and in poor condition from the sun.

The mounting hinges are nice and tight without any play.

The chrome finish is shiny with only a couple very small pits on each.

They measure 21" X 5".

General Motors to kill Daewoo name in South Korea, switch to Chevrolet

General Motors Co., trying to position Chevrolet as a key global brand, is killing the long-used GM Daewoo name in South Korea and putting the Chevy bowtie on its cars there. The name GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co., in use since GM took over the struggling South Korean automaker in 2002, will be phased out by the end of March. The new name will be GM Korea Co., the company said in a statement.

Cop saves life of choking driver

A US POLICE officer saved a motorist in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who was choking after stopping her for driving through a red light. Officer Jason Gates realised the woman could not breathe when he approached her vehicle, so he hit her on the back to try to clear her airway. When that did not work, he performed the Heimlich manoeuvre which dislodged a piece of sausage and bread from her throat.
