Vintage Locking Mercury Trunk Handle
Chrome has moderate pitting.
Chrome on handle has worn and its has lost some of its shine.
The flip lid has horizontal lines and the license light housing has 8 embossed on it.
The light does not have the glass or wiring.
This will need some refinishing work before use.



 




GT Academy winner to race at Monza

It's been a year since Jann Mardenborough entered the PlayStation GT Academy. On Saturday, he'll be on the track at Monza, going wheel to wheel with Valentino Rossi in the opening round of the Blancpain Endurance Series. Mardenborough won the GT Academy and drove in the 24 Hours of Dubai with fellow Academy winner Bryan Heitkotter in a race-prepped Nissan GT-R.

There was no way the Concorso Italiano team was going to let Lamborghini’s 50th birthday slip by unnoticed, which is why this year there was a big effort made to get as many examples of the marque there was possible. While there were few real rarities, models from the past 25 years were there in big numbers; once again, the rarities will be out in force at the Pebble Beach Concours on Sunday… If you wanted to check out a Lamborghini timeline, the one here was pretty good. But there was no LM-002 4x4, which was a shame.

Electric Ford Focus starts European production

The Electric Ford Focus (pictured) is now being built in Europe The electric Ford Focus is already in production, and on sale, in the USA, and now it’s gone in to production in Germany ahead of arriving with owners in July. So far, the Focus EV hasn’t been an overwhelming success in the US, with just over 700 sold in the first five months of 2013 but, even though Ford see the EV as a niche product, they’re still hoping to make a dent in sales of the Nissan LEAF in Europe. The Focus EV comes with an electric motor producing 143bhp and powered by a bank of lithium-ion batteries.
