Tue, 01 Feb 2011Dr Wolfgang Durheimer starts his new job today; previously Porsche’s R&D chief, Dr Durheimer takes up his post as boss of Bentley and Bugatti on 1 February 2011. Just before he left Porsche, CAR caught up with Dr Durheimer to discover the future he’s leaving behind at the German sports car manufacturer. Dr Durheimer begain his career in the auto industry in 1986, working for BMW as a product manager, product development boss for the Motorrad division, and then as R&D boss.

The 2013 Carens, the work of Peter Schreyer and his design team, was conceived around the theme of ‘dynamic space' and features a cab-forward design with a longer wheelbase, lower roofline and chrome beltline accent. Hennessey shows off breakneck speed of Venom GT
Wed, 14 Sep 2011The boys at Hennessey Performance in Houston have been showing off their Venom GT supercar for almost a year now. We know it is fast. But in case we weren't convinced, they sent us this video of the speedometer going from 70 mph to 215 mph in about 10 seconds, complete with sound.
