Bought this gem with a lot of other 1946-9 S-11 Desoto parts! (I own a 49 Club Coupe Custom Series) This beautiful guard fits between and behind the front bumper guards of your 1946-9 S-11 DeSoto. My photos do not do justice to the guard that has never seen damage & has never been installed. (reflections are on lens but the chrome is very nearly perfect) RARE! I bought 12 NORS grille guards as a lot and this ONE is the only one that is designed for S-11 Desoto. All 12 of the grille guards have not been completely finished. I believe that the ends need to been finished. Some final flattening of the tubes & the final drilling through (using the existing hole as the pattern) of the ends will allow the bumper guards & bolts to be installed with the grille guard. Fuel prices 'still number one concern'
Tue, 08 Apr 2014FUEL DUTY freezes have done nothing to stop the public worrying about the price of filling up their cars, according to research from British Car Auctions. More than 70% of the 400-person sample cited fuel prices as the number one concern when it comes to motoring costs, despite reports from the AA that pump prices have actually fallen over the last year. Second place in the survey was taken by the cost of road tax, which reflects that the survey was taken among used car buyers.
