Here is a 1946-1948 Chevrolet CAR radio by Delco. Going by the serial number C-47 424454, this came from a 1947 Chevrolet. (It may also work in a 1942 car.) I also know that because a relative had this in her running/driving 1947 Chevrolet car. Before she departed with the car, she told the knew owner she would have to take the radio out because she enjoyed the beautiful sound it made---a far cry from today's technology, but it is what it is. So, I marked it as used, presuming that if it worked back then, it should work now. If not, perhaps a few parts?

This is the deluxe version, Delco Model #: 985793. It is complete with its original bakelite knobs, etc. It will need to be gone through, I presume, but should be up and playing shortly!  Knobs turn freely. Dial spins freely. buttons go up and down freely. Many re-pop parts exist for this, and for the purist, NOS parts can still be found on ebay, etc.

Sold as is. No returns. no exchanges. No exceptions. Shipping to the 48 US States is $30 insured. It is old. It is delicate. It will travel by USPS, so let's wish it the best of luck. I will bubble wrap it, etc. as best as I am able to.

Chrysler design chief says Trump is full of it

Fri, 02 Nov 2012

Chrysler design chief and SRT boss Ralph Gilles took to Twitter for a strongly worded rebuke of Donald Trump, telling the businessman he was "full of shit." Trump on Thursday repeated an erroneous Mitt Romney campaign claim that Jeep production was moving to China. Trump tweeted: “[President Barack] Obama is a terrible negotiator. He bails out Chrysler and now Chrysler wants to send all Jeep manufacturing to China—and will!” Gilles tweeted back: “You are full of shit!” Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne told employees in an email on Oct.
