1946 and 1947 Hudson Hood Ornament with Acrylic Crest #208768 & #208770. The acrylic crest (208770) is used on the Commodore Six and Commodore Eight.

The lower die cast (208768) was used on all models including Hudson Super Six, Hudson Super Eight, Hudson Business Cars, Commodore Six and Commodore Eight.

Please study the pictures I have tried to show everthing, it appears that the tip of the acrylic piece is broke?

I do not clean my parts that I have for auction, I have had too many complaints in the past for removing the patina. So I leave them in as is condition.

Working under the direction of Carlos Barba, Executive Director of Design, GM South America, Tribia has assumed responsibility for all interior programs at General Motors Brazil Design, both local and global. In doing so, he has also become the first Brazilian Design Director at the company.

Betty Skelton, former acrobatic airplane pilot, Chevrolet Corvette test driver and daredevil speed racer, died at the age of 85 on Aug. 31. Skelton established a concrete precedent for women's roles in aviation, aerobatic performance and auto racing.
