A friend's elderly husband died & she asked me to pick out some items to sell before her auction.  This auction is for a 1946-1948 Ford Mercury Body Parts Catalogue(nice pgs & edges, no rips or tears, but has a water staining on the edge & a lower spine split.)  2 other copies of this are listed on ebay for $98 & $50, so I think this is a good price.  One low-grade copy sold for $28.  Combined Shipping will only be $1 if it's an additional auction.  I also have what I assume is an original metal bar for holding these all together.  I will include that for anyone who buys more than one of these manuals.  The other yrs are going up tonight.

Extra scans are of other manuals & things that I will be listing.  There are more beyond the 12 scans.

Ford has no qualms about charging nearly $23,000 for a fully loaded 2011 Fiesta, which is smaller than the Focus. The Fiesta sedan, which goes on sale this summer, starts at $13,995, including shipping. The Fiesta, with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine and a six-speed transmission, gets 40 mpg on the highway.

LATE SUMMER driving will be less expensive following supermarket fuel price cuts. From tomorrow Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco are all reducing the cost of their petrol and diesel by 2p a litre. In Asda's case, the reduction means its customers will pay no more than 126.7p a litre for petrol, with diesel being 129.7p a litre - its lowest price since January 2011.

Ferrari plan VIP club so ‘Elite’ get limited edition Ferraris. How Silly.

Sun, 27 Nov 2011

Ferrari VIP Owners Club - for cars like the SA Aperta It seems Ferrari are planning an elite club of VIP Ferrari owners who will get the chance to buy limited edition Ferraris first. When Ferrari has a special car – like an Enzo or the new Aperta – there are never going to be enough cars to satisfy the list of potential customers. Which is the point.
