Tue, 27 Mar 2012Amko Leenarts has been appointed Director of Global Interiors Design Strategy at Ford Motor Company, effective from 1 June 2012. Leenarts will be tasked with developing the future interior design strategy for both the Ford and Lincoln brands worldwide, working alongside the company's global leadership team and reporting directly to J Mays, Group Vice President of Global Design and Chief Creative Officer at Ford Motor Company. He will be based in the company's Merkenich studio in Germany.
Jordan sells off Formula One collection
Fri, 07 Mar 2014FORMULA ONE commentator and former team boss Eddie Jordan is selling off his collection of racing cars and memorabilia to raise money for charity. The sale includes the very first Jordan F1 car that driven by Michael Schumacher. It comes complete with the German driver’s original racing helmet that Schumacher signed and gave to Eddie Jordan as a souvenir.

Wed, 01 Feb 2012Lexus has released an official video of its Lexus LF-LC concept, winner of the ‘Best Concept Car' at the 2012 EyesOn Design Awards. The video features comments from the design team at the company's Calty studio in Newport Beach, California, including Project Chief Designer William Chergosky, Senior Creative Designers Edward Lee and Ben Chang, Studio Manager Ian Cartabiano as well as President Kevin Hunter. The LF-LC hybrid sports coupe is the result of a brief to the Calty team to design a future hybrid sports coupe concept.
