Brand:Plymouth Surface Finish:Chrome & Plastic Manufacturer Part Number:1115946 Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Placement on Vehicle:Left, Front UPC:Does Not Apply

The plastic is melted at the bottom, please see photos, it is about 1/2" wide x 1/8" tall.  The gold on ship picture look good but the blue is faded away, This style is painted black on the back of the plastic and the background behind the boat is gold. There is black paint missing from the back around where the Plymouth letters are.

The chrome on the ring is nice, with a few pits down in the rings and some on the surface.  There are some faint scuffs below the "M" in plymouth, otherwise the lucite is still shiny.

FYI: Another style of this ring was made which has more waves on the ocean with the background being red, the back of that lucite would have been painted silver and seems slightly more common than this style.

China’s Geely to bring Emgrand range to UK in 2013

Sat, 20 Aug 2011

Geely are planning to bring their Emgrand range to the UK We didn’t think Geely would venture to the West with any of their own brand cars, expecially as Geely is doing very well with its Swedish purchase – Volvo. But it seems that Geely is planning on bringing their cars – certainly the ‘Premium’ Emgrand range – to the UK by 2013. Regular readers may remember the Rolls Royce Phantom ‘Homage’ built by Geely and, more recently and more convincingly, their take on the MINI and the London Taxi.

The Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid arrives in Paris There will come a point when governments realise that car makers are getting too clever at gaming CO2 levels with impressive and sophisticated hybrids. But until then, there’s a growing number of cars that, on the face of it, offer a ‘cake and eat it’ option for buyers. Like the new Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid.

Hey Craig Jackson, how did the auction go?

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Plenty of people were surprised this week that the original Batmobile sold for $4.6 million* at Barrett-Jackson. And few were more surprised than Craig Jackson, the ringleader behind the mega-million-dollar auction in Scottsdale. The last time we spoke to him, he had estimated the original Batmobile to be worth somewhere around $2 million (later $3-4 million, as he now said).
