Tue, 16 Feb 2010The 2010 facelifted Toyota RAV4 will be at the Geneva Motor Show It’s inevitable that with only a couple of weeks to go until the Geneva Motor Show opens that announcements on new and facelifted cars are rolling in every day. This morning it’s Toyota with news that they’re taking the facelifted Toyota RAV4 to Geneva. Unfortunately, Toyota hasn’t seen fit to give us too many details.

The car is being offered for sale due to lack of use by its current owner Leslie Bricusse, the English composer famous for writing a string of hits including the theme to James Bond’s Goldfinger, Sammy Davis Jnr’s What kind of fool am I, and Nina Simone’s Feeling Good. During the Duke’s ownership, notable passengers included Her Majesty The Queen, former Prime Minister Harold Macmillan, poet and writer Sir John Betjeman, and both Princess Alexandra and Princess Margaret.
Production output decline slowing

The data, presented by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), show that, while production levels are still on the decline, the pace at which they are declining is slowing. Car production figures for June 2009 are still down by 30.2% compared with this time last year, however this is an improvement on the 50.2% by which production is down so far this year.
