2 windshield wiper arms from a 1946 47 48 early 49 Plymouth. They measure 10". I never really paid much attention when I removed them and thought they were right/left,,,a pair. But when taking pictures, it seems that they are the same, probably both left, driver side. The curve in them just doesn't make sense for the right side. If everyone agrees, I might change the auction to list only one, no use selling 2 for the same side. They both shine nice, springs and splines appear good. NO blades. Very usable. FREE shipping in the lower 48 USA. Look close. Rare parts, low price. See my other auctions. Lighter parts are sent by USPS. Heavier parts are sent by Fed Ex. I live in the country and Fed Ex has recently moved farther away still. So, I have to drive 25 miles there and back, or pay them $4 per package to stop here. Bubble wrap, tape and packaging materials cost money. I sell my parts at a low price, and sometimes lose money after shipping and fees. I don't "pad" my shipping costs, but try to at least break even. If the actual cost is somewhat less, I always issue a refund. Thanks for understanding. |

Tesla recalls Roadster for short in power cable, fire risk
Tue, 05 Oct 2010Tesla Motors is recalling its electric Roadster 2.0 and 2.5 models because a power cable may short and catch fire. The 12-volt cable, located behind the right-front headlight, could rub against the carbon-fiber paneling causing the cable to short, begin smoking and possibly catch fire, Tesla said. The cable is part of a backup system that powers the headlights, taillights, turn signals and airbags if the primary 12-volt cable fails.

Caterham has revealed details of their new entry-level Seven – called 160 – after a tease earlier in the year, which comes with the aforementioned Suzuki 3-pot engine which is powerful enough to promise brisk acceleration of 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds. Caterham has stripped the 160 back to the bone with very low weight, it gets a five-speed manual – from Suzuki but tweaked by Caterham – and a live rear axle.

Fri, 20 Apr 2012Mercedes G63 AMG Ahead of a debut at the Beijing Motor Show next week, we have the first photos and video of the Mercedes G63 AMG. Last week we reported that Mercedes are adding a pair of AMG models to the top of the new G Class range, with the V8 G63 AMG and the G65 AMG offering astonishing performance from a car that’s been around almost as long as Bruce Forsyth. Sadly the UK won’t be getting the G65 (although if you’re mad enough to spend £250k on a G Class you can bring a LHD one in from Germany), but we will be getting the G63 AMG with the 5.5 litre bi-turbo.
