This manual was printed in 1946. I get the impression it is not just for the 1946 ignition system, but for all the previous years with the same type, as well. It was sent from the Pontiac Motor Division to all Dealerships, etc. - It says on the inside that it "is a duplication of that covered in the Pontiac Service Craftsman Training School.  It was felt that an occasional review by the craftsman would help maintain Pontiac's high standard of quality workmanship.........it is possible for the mechanic to refresh his memory and review the completed course. This book can also be used as a training manual for mechanics and apprentices new in the dealer's employ".   It's in good condition & all the pages appear to be there. There's some light staining on the front cover. Lots of diagrams, etc.  Thanks!

The second-generation Volvo S80 has been with us since 2008, and just a year before its scheduled replacement with an all-new model it has managed to grab a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The S80 now joins its XC90, XC60, and S60 siblings in receiving this accolade, which was instituted just last year when the IIHS created a new type of crash test called the small overlap test. The small overlap test is designed to recreate a rather typical road accident scenario, one which hadn't been added to the roster of crash tests by most vehicle organizations.
