"We are the Bitchin' ones."

This new Firewall will give you room to move the brake booster to the firewall and all so narrow up the firewall set back which will give more toe board room.

The 1947-1954 Chevrolet/Chevy (First Series) & the GMC Pick-Up & Panel Truck Firewall from us was designed with no sharp bends or corners. All the set-back bends are rounded and smooth. After a lot of design, redesign work and new tooling, we have succeeded in making it a truly fine 16 gauge cold rolled steel firewall... One that you'll be proud to having your truck. All of our firewalls are proudly made in the U.S.A. and come with all the necessary components, hardware lists, and a complete easy to follow instruction booklet. This firewall has a frontal opening of 41" with a set-back of 3". More than enough room for you small or big block guys. If you have any questions regarding the part, contact our tech line at (928) 420-6346. Any questions regarding refunds or your order, contact our costumer service department for additional information (928) 420-1254. Shipping is non-refundable.

Note: These firewalls are designed for the most popular engine-transmission conversion which is Chevy Engine & GMC Turbo Transmission. This firewall also fits the new LS motors with the 4L60e transmission. Any other engine installation (Ford, Mopar, Etc.) may require rework of the bell housing area of the firewall.

VW wants to buy Karmann Just like all the other specialist coachbuilders out there – Zagato, Pininfarina, etc – life has not been a bed of roses for a long time for Karmann. Once a great way for wealthy owners to ‘Customise’ their cars, the specialist coachbuilders have relied more and more on relationships with big car makers to survive. None more so than Karmann, whose hopes for survival rested on VW divvying up an order for electric cars.

Aside from the Mondeo-esque nose, the major talking point is a double-clutch transmission on the flagship diesels. It’s good news for the Focus, which would have looked pretty bland on the Blue Oval’s Frankfurt stand next to Ford’s other unveilings, the Verve supermini concept and the Kuga SUV.
