You are bidding on the surrounding tip out windshield frame.  We have not removed this windshield frame yet but will guarantee it to be solid, with only surface rust and light pitting or we will cancel the sale. We will break out the glass to reduce shipping cost and in the past we have shipped several of these for various cars and by bracing them quite well they have all survived the shipping quite well. We will try to remove as soon as we have time and add the shipping cost to the add, other wise we will ship at cost by UPS ground. I might just weigh up a 39 Ford windshield I have in the shop and use that for the shipping calculator just so you have an idea of shipping cost. Wired has just published a series of short articles entitled 13 Lessons for Design's New Golden Age. While there are some interesting examples cited in the piece, the concluding article, ‘Why Getting It Wrong Is the Future of Design' by the former creative director of Wired magazine, Scott Dadich, feels like it has particular resonance for car design. Dadich's Wrong Theory uses disruptive examples from the world of art, plus his own experience of working at Wired, to explain how design goes through phases: establishing a direction, creating a set of rules that define that direction and finally someone who dares to break from that direction.
