1947-1948 Ford Car Hub Caps (4) Stainless Steel on 2040-parts.com
Aurora, Colorado, US
Stainless Steel Hub Caps (4) Here is a set of four brand new "FORD" hub caps for your favorite ride. The digital camera can't show how nice the polished surface is. Stainless steel so no worries there. They are about 9 5/8" outside diameter. YOUR WHEELS MUST HAVE THE 5 SPRING CLIPS JUST OUTSIDE THE LUG NUTS FOR THESE TO WORK. Add some class to your car hauler? Can you picture these and a set of trim rings (I sell them too!) on red wheels? I can. I think these are nicer than the originals. They are Ford Motor Company authorized reproductions. Sorry about the camera reflections. I couldn't figure out how to sneak up on them without being seen! We stock lots of hub caps and trim rings. Lots of neat stuff in the Classic Car Goodies Store (currently over 1,000 items!). Call customer service at 303.317.4281 if you have a question. Happy Cruisin'.

Thu, 23 May 2013We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- Auto Blog drives a military Humvee that's fully armored for duty in combat zones, weighing in at 14,400 pounds.
Adaptive steering for big Fords arrives on new Edge
Fri, 30 May 2014By Tim Pollard Motoring Issues 30 May 2014 17:43 Ford today announced all its future large cars will have adaptive steering as standard - letting reps flick their wrists on the way in to the Welcome Break on the M4, yet tip their fingers when changing lanes on the London orbital. It's a further sign that what was once the high-tech preserve of the German brands is now firmly in the mainstream. BMW was one of the brands which pioneered variable-ratio power steering; in essence, it changes the ratio between the driver's inputs at the wheel and the rate at which turns are made at the rack.
Suzuki Kizashi (2010): first pics of the Japanese Mondeo
Fri, 31 Jul 2009By Alex Michaelides First Official Pictures 31 July 2009 11:48 Take a good look at the new Suzuki Kizashi – the Japanese manufacturer’s latest offering is pitched as an all-wheel drive sports saloon. The Kisashi is Suzuki’s first recent step away from small cars and SUVs and looks like it could pack a punch. Yes, the styling is rather conservative and, if we’re honest, a tad disappointing compared with some of the Kizashi concepts that have appeared at various motor shows.
