Here is a set of four brand new "FORD" hub caps for your favorite ride. The digital camera can't show how nice the polished surface is. Stainless steel so no worries there. They are about 9 5/8" outside diameter. YOUR WHEELS MUST HAVE THE 5 SPRING CLIPS JUST OUTSIDE THE LUG NUTS FOR THESE TO WORK. Add some class to your car hauler? Can you picture these and a set of trim rings (I sell them too!) on red wheels? I can. I think these are nicer than the originals. They are Ford Motor Company authorized reproductions. Sorry about the camera reflections. I couldn't figure out how to sneak up on them without being seen! We stock lots of hub caps and trim rings. New Lexus IS to debut at 2013 Detroit Auto Show

The new Lexus IS - previewed at this year’s Paris Motor Show by the Lexus LF-CC Concept – will debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2013. Lexus effectively previewed the new IS with the Lexus LF-CC Concept (above) at the Paris Motor show in September (although that really previews a new Lexus IS Coupe to follow) so we know the new IS is going to follow the current Lexus path of producing good looking cars (like the latest Lexus GS). This time round it looks like Lexus are going to offer a hybrid IS 3000 as the route to the heart of fleet buyers in Europe with a 2.5 litre petrol four-cylinder mated to the usual box of batteries and motor, all running through a CVT ‘box (sadly).

Jason Castriota to head Saab Design

When Car Design News spoke to Jason Castriota about the new design consultancy he had set up in New York and Turin back in March, the designer told us he was working on a very exciting automotive project that he couldn't talk about at the time. It turns out that automotive project was for Saab, as last week the Swedish automaker announced it had hired Jason Castriota Design to oversee the development of a new generation of Saab products – the first to be completed under the tenure of its new owners, Spyker. Castriota's new appointment marks the shift from Saab's former position – where the brand was an integrated company within GM – to its newfound placement as an independent automaker, with Castriota essentially filling the role previously occupied by Mark Adams, GM Europe's Vice President of Design.

Japan freeway clogged by supercar pileup

Nearly $2 million worth of vehicles were wrecked in a 14-car crash in Japan on Sunday. The pileup involved eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini, three Mercedes-Benzes and two Toyotas. The fancy car convoy was headed from Kyushu to Hiroshima when the driver of a red Ferrari skidded while switching from the right lane to the left on the rain-soaked expressway.
