Copy reads in part : " Lets take a trip (on this page) ... and see why Chevrolet's many advance features place the new Chevrolet trucks far ahead of the field!... New Advance - Design  CHEVROLET  TRUCKS..." Chevrolet resumed civilian truck production in August, 1945. The so-called 'Advanced-Design' trucks began production in May 1947. No vent windows should make this one a 1947.

Wed, 22 Feb 2012

Aston Martin's Vantage receives upgrades for 2012, with the base Vantage V8 getting the most attention. The Vantage V8 retains the 4.7-liter, 420-hp V8 and six-speed manual as standard equipment, but it now will be offered with the optional seven-speed Sportshift II from the Vantage S. The automatic transmission has closer ratios, a lower final drive ratio and quicker shifts than the previous Sportshift unit.

SEMA Cares was held in the Pasadena Convention Center in Southern California. Organizers sold out all 155 spots for cool cars and all 25 booth spaces for vendors.

Design and Technology at Siggraph 2008

Mon, 15 Sep 2008

From 11-15 August over 28,000 artists, research scientists, developers, filmmakers, and academics from around the world gathered in Los Angeles for the 35th Siggraph Conference on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques. The Siggraph conference includes courses and technical paper presentations, new technologies demos, an art gallery, computer animation festival, and an exhibition by software and hardware vendors. While the New Tech Demos and the technical programs are focussed on technologies that designers will have to wait several years for, several automotive software and hardware suppliers announced new shipping products at Siggraph.
