We first heard news of a ‘Limited Edition’ Ferrari 599 in late October when we spoke to a guy who’d been invited to put a deposit on a ‘Special 599′. Mon, 27 Jan 2014The new Lamborghini Huracan (pictured) starts at £180,720 It took Lamborghini a very long time to come up with a replacement for the Gallardo, but it finally managed to reveal its replacement – the Lamborghini Huracan – just before Christmas after a long and tedious attempt at generating interest in the reveal with a pointless series of teaser videos. We guessed that Lamborghini would be looking to push the price of the Huracan up towards that of its main competitors – the McLaren 12C and Ferrari 458 – and it seems they’ve done that with a price that starts at almost £50k more than the Gallardo did in the UK. The Supercar Kids have managed to get their hands on a price list for the Huracan in the UK, and it seems Lamborghini are wanting £180,720, plus £3k for delivery and £1,120 for registration, making an on the road price of £184,840.

The new Auris Estate will start at £15,595 for the Active 1.33-litre Dual VVT-i and top out at £22,845 for the Excel 1.8 Hybrid Synergy Drive with CVT box, and in between will be two other engine choices - 1.4 D-4D and 1.6 Valvematic – and a total of four trim levels – Active, Icon, Sport and Excel. The trim levels mirror those on the Auris hatch, so the Active trim gets Climate, Hill Start, roof rails and 15″ steel wheels, with the Icon trim adding 16″ alloys, Fogs, Touchscreen Infotainment with Bluetooth, DAB and rear view camera.
