1948 CHEVROLET RH PARK LIGHT

THESE ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND.  IF YOU'VE LOOKED YOU KNOW SO DON'T OVERLOOK THIS ONE.  I BELIEVE THIS TO BE A 48 CHEVY BASED ON MY RESEARCH.  IT IS STAMPED RH ON THE REAR.   THE PART IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE HAVING A LITTLE IN THE WAY OF DETERIORATION.  THERE IS SOME PITTING HERE & THERE.  SMALL TO MODERATE IN NATURE I WOULD SAY.  MORESO IN THE RIBBED AREA.  THE LENSE IS AN ORIGINAL GLASS FROM WHAT I CAN TELL AND DOES HAVE SOME CHIPS OUT ALONG THE INNER EDGE WHERE IT SITS INSIDE.  THAT SHOULD BE OF NO CONSEQUENCE HOWEVER AS IT SITS FINE.    ANYWAY, I RATE THE PART A 3, ON A SCALE OF 1-5, WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY AND CONDITION.  ONE OTHER NOTE...WE'VE ATTENDED SEVERAL OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MID U.S., OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF PARTS, THOUSANDS OF VENDORS AND NONE OF THESE!

I am honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old parts have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend major money for a pair the best you can do are look for those in good shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD! WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING WHENEVER POSSIBLE ON MULTIPLE ITEMS.

I AM honest about what I sell. Almost all of these old parts have imperfections. Unless you are willing to spend a lot for a part the best you can do are look for those in good shape which this is.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.  THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Watch new Mercedes C-class, GLA45 AMG and S600: VIDEO

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

We got our first look at the new 2015 Mercedes C-class sedan last month in a series of photographs released by the German automaker. The new car does a great impression of a baby S-class with a strong front end, plenty of side-sculpting and a gentle slope to the rear, exemplified in the video above. We also get a peek at the new GLA45 AMG sport compact crossover and the S600 giant killer, all in motion.

CDN and Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition Update

Mon, 08 Nov 2010

Seats, relationships, city life, the virtual world and new materials exploration: one month into the Car Design News-Opel/Vauxhall interactive design competition, launched on 11 October, these are a few of the themes student designers are exploring, in answer to the question 'What do you think is our lounge style?'. The competition, a collaboration between Opel-Vauxhall and Car Design News, is an interactive design competition for students who are studying design – of any discipline – at a college in Europe. The winner of the competition will work as a paid intern at Opel/Vauxhall design center in Rüsselsheim.
