Barrett-Jackson to auction first production SRT Viper for charity
Thu, 12 Apr 2012The first production 2013 SRT Viper will cross the block at Barrett-Jackson's Orange County auction, taking place June 22-24. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, the American Le Mans Series' official charity. The foundation's mission is to curb the effects of childhood cancer and improve affected children's quality of life.

An estimated 1100 Subarus drove from his home town of Lanark in Scotland to Prodrive's HQ in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Colin's dad, Jimmy McRae led the Scooby convoy on its nine-hour and 300-mile pilgrimage.
Smart For-Us concept unveiled at 2012 Detroit show
Tue, 10 Jan 2012Smart made a splash with its world debut at the 2012 Detroit auto show: its For-Us concept car provides a vision of the Smart as an American icon, a pick-up. The diminutive truck - just 3547mm long - is longer than a Fortwo, and is supposed to be based on the running gear of the next-gen Smart Forfour, aka the new Renault Twingo. So if the For-Us doesn't look so much like a Smart any more, from the front at least, that's why.
