Condition:Used

Pair of headlight buckets with 6 volt bulbs, retainer ring, adjusting parts from a 1948 Plymouth sedan. These should fit other years, probably other Mopars. Left (short wires) side has Tung Sol bulb, right has GE. Both work on high and low, but are a little discolored. The buckets have surface rust and pitting, but are not weak or rotted. Retainer rings appear OK. Adjusters should be cleaned/lubed/inspected. The wires near the outer end are frayed, ends partially gone and the wiring should be repaired or replaced. Look close. Rare parts at a low price. See my other auctions.

Lighter parts are sent by USPS. Heavier parts are sent by Fed Ex. I live in the country and Fed Ex has recently moved farther away still. So, I have to drive 25 miles there and back, or pay them $4 per package to stop here. Bubble wrap, tape and packaging materials cost money. I sell my parts at a low price, and sometimes lose money after shipping and fees. I don't "pad" my shipping costs, but try to at least break even. If the actual cost is somewhat less, I always issue a refund. Thanks for understanding.

The Toyota Yaris (pictured) – one of the Toyotas recalled It seems Toyota has decided its dealer service centres aren’t busy enough, so it’s revealed a massive series of recalls for 6.58 million Toyota’s around the world – and 35,124 in the UK – to fix a raft of problems. The cars affected are the RAV4, Hilux, Yaris and Urban Cruiser models, and although no accidents or injuries have occurred as a result of the problems, Toyota are taking no chances. The Rav4 and Hilux models are being recalled to fix a spiral cable assembly in the airbag module where the shape and location of a retainer for the flexible flat cable could damage circuitry when the steering wheel is turned.

Audi Q5 refreshed for 2013, new engines added

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

For a mid-cycle refresh, Ingolstadt hasn't lavished a whole passel of aesthetic rearrangement upon the Audi Q5. There's some fiddling in the interior, some minor meddling with the face and, really, that's about that. The company did, however, go a bit zany in the engine bay.

Honda recalls Accord Crosstour for airbag fix

Wed, 15 Sep 2010

Honda is recalling more than 3,300 copies of its 2010 Accord Crosstour to fix the front passenger airbag. Honda said the Accord Crosstour's passenger airbag had not been tested with an unbelted 6-year-old child-size test dummy, which is required by federal law. Honda said it will inspect and possibly replace the passenger airbag in 3,336 Accord Crosstours.
