Vintage Brand New in original box set of front and back seat covers for a 1949-50 Mercury Sedan and 1951 Mercury Sedan with removable front seat cushion. These are in excellent new original condition, aftermarket seat covers used to place over you seats to protect the seat upholstery. Great sea foam green color with white piping and cool pattern to the woven material insert sections. This is a complete set with all four pieces to cover the entire car seats front and back. Amazing excellent new condition, clean, soft and pliable material - perfect. Even has the original box and detailed installation instructions.
These may fit other era cars from the 1940s or 1950s but were made to fit the Mercury years listed above perfectly. Would be a nice touch to your custom, lead sled, hot rod, or James Dean Merc. |

Real UK car sales ‘have halved’ in November 2008

Although official registration figures won’t be released until later this week, we can reveal that retail sales slumped by 45% in November 2008. It’s a crucial metric, retail registrations being actual sales to real people – as opposed to bulk-buy fleet deals to businesses (which are also down).

And to celebrate that landmark they’ve revealed the Ford Fiesta Centura, a limited edition of just 1,000 cars. Based on the Fiesta 1.25 Zetec, the Fiesta Centura gets £600 worth of extras – metallic paint (Panther Black only), chrome mirrors, 16″ alloys, auto lights and wipers, rear parking sensors, reversing camera and LED running lights – and costs £13,395 for the three-door and £13,995 for the five door.
Ford Design Center set to expand
Wed, 13 Apr 2011Symbolic of the importance it plays in Ford's small car strategy, the automakers Design Center in Cologne, Germany, is about to receive a €11.6m redevelopment. Construction is already underway on the facility's new wing, which will include design studios and 100 workplaces. The 3,000 square-meter extension is set to be completed by the end of the year.
