This 2 piece set of original NOS 1949-'50 Ford stainless steel Ventshades is in very good condition from long storage. Fits 1949-'50 Ford coupes, including the business and club coupes. Might also work for 1951 if the door window is the same as previous years, I'm not entirely sure. Part number OA-18246-C. Each piece is stamped F58. They were in the original box, but the cardboard fell apart, so there is no longer a box. A packet of screws is included. There is a light scratch on one shade as a result from storage. This is my last set for the coupes! After this they are GONE!

Jeep Cherokee now on sale – UK Jeep sales set to double

Tue, 24 Jun 2014

The new Jeep Cherokee (above) is now on sale in the UK Jeep may have the sort of SUV, off-road credibility as Land Rover, but they’ve failed miserably to make the most of that in recent years, particularly on this side of the Pond. But things are changing for Jeep, and the arrival of the new Jeep Cherokee – with it’s contentious, but individual, looks – promises to give Jeep a real shot in the arm in its quest to rebuild sales in the UK. With a choice of two diesel engines – 140 hp and 170 hp versions of the 2.0 litre diesel – a choice of four trim levels - Longitude, Longitude+, Limited and Trailhawk – and a 3.2 litre petrol engine for the hardcore Trailhawk version (available from the end of 2014), Jeep has a strong offering.

Double Oh My! James Bond Aston Martin sells for $4.6 million

Thu, 28 Oct 2010

Perhaps the single most breathtaking car of the fall auction season, a 1964 Aston Martin DB5--better known as the James Bond car--sold for $4.61 million to Ohio collector Harry Yeaggy on Wednesday at the RM Auctions Automobiles of London sale. The Aston was expected to sell for more than $5 million, and the sale fell a bit short of that, registering a final bid of 2.6 million British pounds, or $4,114,760. Buyer's premiums raise the total sale price to $4.61 million.
