1949-1951 Ford Deluxe Crestline Country Squire NOS ammeter 8A-10850-B

Product Description

NOS genuine Ford dashboard ammeter gauge, part number 8A-10850-B, which was a replacement for 8A-10850-A. Later on, 8A-10850-B was used to replace 8A-10850-C, which was the original gauge for 1951 Station Wagon.

The Ford parts books explain these with notations of -B has a green "hand" (needle?), while the -C has a red "hand". It doesn't say anything about the color on the -A gauge. However, this sure looks like the needle is white to me. If it's green, it's a super-light, washed out or faded version of an extremely pale mint green.

This fits:

  • 1949 - 1950 Ford Custom, Deluxe, Crestline, Ranch Wagon, Country Sedan and Country Squire
  • 1951 Ford Ranch Wagon, Country Sedan and Country Squire

A few words to make things easier.

1. Combined shipping for multiple auctions is always available, but when the auction is over, you will have to wait until I revise things in my eBay "paperwork" to create just one invoice for all your purchased auctions.  And I have to do the revising BEFORE you pay.  If auctions are paid separately (i.e. before you receive my invoice combining items), eBay will no longer then let me combine them on one invoice.  AND, eBay then automatically charges you separate shipping charges for each item, which is not refunded.  Again, this is eBay's set-up.  Combining auctions benefits you by saving you shipping and handling fees.

2. Payment is expected within 3 days.  After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded.  If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen.  Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.

The famous Art Car series has, to date, seen 17 cars transformed from generic racers into unique, moving canvases. For the first time, an extensive virtual tour documenting the history of the cars and their creators has been produced. Each car has an extensive back catalogue of images and a short film, which serve to show the variety of the ‘works of art on wheels'.

History continued today at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif., as the 62nd annual Grand National Roadster Show opened its doors for the weekend. Twelve open-topped hot rods will vie for the title of "America's Most Beautiful Roadster" and the right of their owners to scratch thier names onto the accompanying nine-foot-tall trophy. A few minor tweaks to the rules will make this year's judging something new.
