Who's Where: Wolfgang Egger to head Audi Group Design
Fri, 16 Feb 2007Following fast on the heels of the appointment of Walter de'Silva as Volkswagen Group Head of Design earlier this month, is the appointment of Wolfgang Egger to head of Audi Group Design. Egger will begin his new position effective from 1 May, 2007. Stefan Sielaff remains head of the Audi brand design department.
Ford B-Max goes in to production
Mon, 25 Jun 2012The Ford B-Max – Ford’s long overdue replacement for the Fusion – has gone in to production in Romania before going on sale in Europe in September. The Ford B-Max is the long-awaited replacement for the very ancient Ford Fusion which finally, a year on from the B-Max Concept - arrived at this year’s Geneva Motor Show in production guise. Thankfully – because the B-Max concept as so convincing – Ford has managed to deliver a production B-Max that carries over almost all the features of the concept with just a few minor things – like more sensible wheels and proper door handles – marking the production B-Max out from the concept.
Unique book captures iconic motor racing colours

Among the famous and celebrated paint schemes set out in Racing Colours are Gulf, Martini and British Racing Green classics from the racetrack and even from cinema, like that of the Porsche 917K driven by Steve McQueen’s Michael Delaney in the 1970 film Le Mans. A racing car’s livery is a key component in the enjoyment of motorsport through creating attractive car designs.
