This is an original 1949-1953 Chevy truck oil pressure gauge which mounts in the gauge pod. This gauge is complete and has a very clean original face. It was just removed from a 1950 Chevy pickup truck which had been sitting for many years. See my eBay Store for more 1947-1953 Chevrolet truck gauges. Rolls Royce sponsors Bloodhound 1000mph World Speed Record attempt
Tue, 14 May 2013The last time we had news about a sponsor for the Bloodhound 1000mph World Record attempt aproject, it was all about a carbon off-set company sponsoring the project with off-set credits so the speed record project could claim to be carbon neutral. This time, it’s something of proper value to the project. Rolls Royce – the plane people, not the car people – are supplying their EJ200 jet engine from the Eurofighter Typhoon – and technical support – which will be bolted in Bloodhound to get it up to 350mph before a rocket engine takes over and thrusts it on past 1000mph.
New Nissan creates 500 UK jobs
Wed, 22 Jan 2014THE NEW NISSAN Qashqai starts coming off the production line today, which has helped create 500 new jobs at the Japanese car giant's UK plant in the coming months. The second generation Qashqai will be built in Sunderland, where the workforce is set to increase to over 7,000 for the first time. Around 286,000 Qashqai cars were built last year, with production numbers expected to be similar in 2014.
