This is an NOS 6V volt, 40 amp. voltage regulator which was used on Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys from 1949-1955.  The regulator is complete with the screws for securing the wires to the three posts and a copy of the installation instructions.  This regulator has never been installed and has the original factory cadmium plating on the base.  This regulator was made in the USA.  Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or non working 6V voltage regulator. Mini plans to set new world record for largest one-make parade

Mini never shied away from setting records in the most dramatic way possible, and the company's next stunt hopes to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest parade of Minis. The rendezvous point for this record attempt will be the famous Mackinac Bridge in Michigan, where the official car count will take place. The organizers, Mini USA along with Mini of Grand Rapids, are hoping that at least 1,451 Minis will show up, to beat the previous record of 1,450.

Rearview cameras may become a mandatory feature in all passenger cars by 2014 if US Congress approves a rule submitted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Auto safety regulators have taken the decision to submit a final rule to Congress after figures emerged from non-profit group KidsandCars.org that stated that two children die and about 50 are injured every week when someone accidentally backs over them in a vehicle. In one quite shocking public-service announcement KidsAndCars.org showed that 62 children could fit behind a large SUV without being visible to the driver in any of the mirrors.
