The 303 V8 Kettering Engine was a milestone in the history of evolving the modern internal combustion, overhead valve engine in 1949. It lasted until 1954, and Oldsmobile bored it 1/8 - inch in 1954, and used it until the 1957 Oldsmobile was introduced as an all new 371 cubic inch engine.

Government promises £140 million for pothole patch-up

This includes those damaged in the major flooding that occured during Christmas and early February. Mon, 24 Mar 2014A NEW report commissioned by a parliamentary safety group claims that deaths and serious injuries on the roads are likely to cost society £110 billion in the years to 2030. According to the Parliamentary Advisory Committee for Transport Safety (Pacts), the total of those killed or seriously injured (KSIs) over this period is expected to be around a third of a million. These figures are expected despite the report predicting a dip in KSIs and slight injuries by 2030 compared with figures for 2012.
