This is a new12 volt, 30 amp. voltage regulator which was used on Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys beginning in 1956 when Ford Motor Company changed to the 12V electrical system.  This regulator can also be used on any 1949-1955 Ford, Thunderbird, Lincoln or Mercury which has been converted from a 6V to a 12V electrical system.  The regulator includes the screws and caps for securing the wires to the three posts and a copy of the installation instructions.  This regulator has never been installed and still has beautiful cadmium plating on the base.  Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or non working voltage regulator with a new unit. Based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, the college will focus on automotive design, and in time, incorporate automotive engineering and management into a slightly wider curriculum. Notably, students will have the opportunity to build a full scale, working, drivable prototype as part of their final year projects in both the undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.

NISSAN has created what it calls ‘the scent of the future’, representing what Planet Earth might smell like in an imagined world where everyone drove zero-emissions vehicles. By teaming up with master perfumer and Aroma Academy Scientist Dr George Dodd, the firm has created its ‘aromatic blueprint’ for the future. Dodd, reportedly inspired by long walks in the Scottish Highlands, has created an in-car fragrance that he says is proven to inspire ‘a positive sense of well-being’ in people who smell it.

CAR’s Ben Oliver is just back from the races, auctions and shows of Monterey Car Week, culminating in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Here’s his completely unrepresentative photo-diary: as you’ll see, he got most excited by the oddball Concours de LeMons… The standard of restoration required to exhibit at the Concours de LeMons is a little lower than at the other Monterey Car Week events. This is the kind of thing you see parked on the street during Monterey Car Week: the Blastolene Brothers Dream Rod, with its 2000bhp, 41-litre Packard tank engine.
