1949 Cadillac. Conv. The car was originally from the State of Colorado driven to upstate N.Y. Area over 30 yrs ago the car was disassembled and all the parts were bagged and tagged by the previous owner unfortunately he never got around to finish it ,then we purchased it from him and have started the process of reassembling the car the car is a very solid builder with minimal amount of rust,we have replaced the fuel tank and lines ,rebuilt the fuel pump,reconditioned the radiator ,sandblasted the top frame and it has a coat of epoxy applied ,new top cylinders,reconditioned and reassembled the dash with some new chrome purchased ,no rot at all in the floor or trunk floor,doors ,hood absolutely solid ,small hole near the trunk handle,fenders and quarter fenders have very minimal amount of rust,the car was completely stripped and a lite coat of epoxy applied nothing to hide and we have documented the complete body with pics when it was in bare metal,front sheetmetal has only a few bolts assembled ,49 k miles ,#'s matching drive line ,we have the car in running and driving again a somewhat rare excellent builder ,have plenty of pics to show all jam and body panels good and any bad areas..also have a extra top frame,some extra chrome and additional parts that may go possible with it if it meets reserve price.. Free Regent Street Motor Show to showcase past, present and future
Mon, 21 Oct 2013A GLORIOUS MIX of old and new will descend on the capital in early November as the Regent Street Motor Show returns. On Saturday 2nd November Regent Street closes to traffic from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus, allowing over 300 cars to go on display in a free show for the public. The display will include as many as 100 pre-1905 veteran vehicles which will compete in the EFG International Concours d’Elegance and then take on the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run the following day - the oldest competitive driving event in the world.
