This auction is for a 1949 Chevrolet Hood Ornament. The part numbers on the bottom of it are 3688253. I am not sure what model this fits, it may fit other years or models as well but I am not sure so please make sure it is correct for your application before buying. This one is in excellent condition, possibly N0S, or at very least an early take off. The chrome Is really nice as you can see in the pictures. A really rare find. It could be used as is on most any car. Not broken, cracked or otherwise damaged. This is a good find for a rare part ! Sold As Is, As Shown. Race-car driver Scott Pruett is also a winemaker, and his vineyard is releasing a limited-edition Napa Cabernet to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500. Pruett and his wife, Judy, opened their vineyard in 2006 in Auburn, Calif., on the eastern slope of the northern Sierra Mountains. They create small-lot, hand-crafted premium wines.

Terry Karges to replace Buddy Pepp as executive director of the Petersen Museum

Michelin design contest inspires young minds

The College for Creative Studies in Detroit held its 24th Michelin Design challenge, in which Michelin sponsors a design and development project for one of CCS' transportation design classes. The competition works like this: CCS and Michelin get together to develop a theme, then CCS picks which transportation design class will work on the project. The idea, Michelin says, is to celebrate and promote the kind of vehicle design that highlights original thinking and innovation.
