Reconditioned cast iron manifold that will fit 1949-1953 Ford and Mercury, it has been sandblasted, painted and clear coated! Ready to install on your flathead today, also included are the rear main caps that hold the crank in place and come with the bolts also. The timing cover was painted to match the manifold and was also clear coated, fuel pump stand included and the camshaft plate is also being thrown in at no extra cost! The restored dash in the first picture is NOT included and is going back on my 49' Ford this week.

The estimate to pay for shipping and buy a box is over $55 because of the weight, so that has been factored into the price already.

Now the Germans say no to Volvo

Sat, 03 Jan 2009

As we’ve reported in the last few weeks, Ford has been trying its best to offload Volvo, the last of its ‘Prestige’ Euro marques. The Chinese looked to be the best bet, but it seems that that is going nowhere at the moment (the Chinese are probably waiting for Ford to get in to an even deeper mess with the hope of picking up Volvo for peanuts) and now its seems that Ford’s fire-sale has drawn more blanks. Now the Germans turn down the chance to own Volvo Der Spiegel reports that Daimler (Mercedes-Benz) boss Dieter Zetsche has revealed that Daimler has turned down the chance to buy Volvo, and has also revealed that BMW has had a good look, and reached the same decision.

It’s been clear since December – when Alfa teased the 4C – that we would finally get a proper production version of the first proper Alfa sports car in as long as we all care to remember. And, as far as we can see, the production Alfa 4C is pretty faithful to the concept.
