The story goes the car was driving down the road 1964 and driver hit a bolder and the drain plug was damaged and motor lost oil so, owner took car to dealer they replaced with new motor when they called owner he had passed away so the car sat there for years then sold in 1969 then it was stored inside a garage till i purchased it just last month, I'm going with a updated V8 motor

For sale is a 1949 Pontiac Silver Streak Complete 8 Cylinder Motor only No trans,no starter or gen included, this motor is locked up but it is New just been sitting for many years at old dealer 1969 then sold and car was stored inside garage Whitehead Ok. Till i purchased car just last month  going with a upgraded V8 motor and trans.

GM's Henderson says no decision yet on bankruptcy

General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson said today the company has not decided whether to file for bankruptcy protection, but that preparations continue in case such an action is necessary. "We have until June 1, and if we can't do it between now and June 1 then we do it in bankruptcy," Henderson said during a morning teleconference with journalists. Still in his first month at the helm after the March 30 departure of CEO Rick Wagoner, Henderson said he wasn't sure who would make the decision.

Motorway pile-up 'like pinball'

DRIVERS involved in a fatal pile-up on a motorway entered a "wall of blackness" before suffering numerous impacts as if they were "a pinball machine", a jury heard. Seven people died and 51 were injured after 34 cars collided when a section of the M5 in Somerset was suddenly "engulfed in thick smog". Anthony and Pamela Adams, Maggie and Michael Barton, Malcolm Beacham, Terry Brice and Kye Thomas died in the incident, on November 4 2011.

Spyker Cars is changing its name to Swedish Automobile N.V., and its new Chinese partner, Pang Da, is waiting for authorities to approve the investment in Spyker and Saab. Known for more than a decade as a producer of exclusive muscle cars, Spyker sold off its sports-car business in February to focus on Saab. The company bought the Swedish automaker a year ago when General Motors was on the verge of shutting Saab down.
