THIS AUCTION IS FOR A VERY NICE 1949 TO 1953 FORD MERCURY FLATHEAD V8 MALLORY DUAL POINT IGNITION. THIS IS A WELL PRESERVED UNIT WITH NICE POINTS COIL AND CONDENSER THAT APPEARS TO BE IN WORKING ORDER EXCEPT FOR A BROKEN CAP. THE CAP BROKE DURING MY PHOTO TAKING FOR THIS LISTING. I HAVE THE THREE PIECES AND POSSIBLY THEY CAN BE EPOXIED TOGETHER AND WILL WORK JUST FINE. I BELIEVE THAT MALLORY STILL HAS THESE CAPS AVAILABLE TODAY.
