NOS Super-Chief Illuminated/Light up Hood Ornament from 1950's. Made by Blackstone Mfg Co from Chicago Illinois. Model C-2559. New in box and never used. Made of plastic and chromed metal. Great for a classic car, hot rod, rat rod or even a motorcycle. This fabulous lighted hood ornament is sold as a vintage
collectible. All appears to be there and working, but there is no way
for me to test it. It is New Old Stock item and has never been used or
installed. It comes with the original box, hood ornament, wiring in sealed envelope, bulb and waiting and the printed mounting template. I'd purchased this from a collector but decided to go with a different ornament for my vehicle. Honda plans rapid-fire launch of 2012 Civics
Tue, 18 Jan 2011Honda will take a hurry-up approach when launching its delayed Civic family in April. Unlike past Civic rollouts--which spread the debuts of model types and variations over months and even years--Honda will launch every variety of the 2012 Civic within weeks of each other, said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda. The family includes a sedan and coupe, multiple engines, lithium ion hybrid and natural gas versions, and a Civic Si edition.
Audi to hold Urban Future Summit

The symposium will feature presentations from internationally renowned speakers on the future of individual mobility in megacities, with participants from all over the world. The goal of the summit is to ‘build knowledge networks', focusing on the subject of "Energies - what forces will change the cities of the future?" Expert speakers such as Saskia Sassen, Carlo Ratti, Ludger Hovestadt and Charles Leadbeater will be among those who will discuss how mobility and the urban space must develop to meet the demands of future cities.
