Geneva 2014 debut for Vauxhall Astra VXR Extreme concept

Vauxhall will unveil its fastest Astra model ever at this year’s 2014 Geneva Motor Show when it pulls the covers off its Astra VXR Extreme concept car. New Chevrolet Caprice tuned to police needs

The new Chevrolet Caprice police patrol vehicle will hit the streets in April 2011, and orders from departments will begin in January. The Caprice will join the Impala and the Tahoe as the bow-tie brand's offerings for police. The new Chevy will feature a 6.0-liter V8 engine pumping out 355 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque.

The Prodrive-developed five-door WRC car, which is based on Subaru’s hatchback Impreza, uses the same 2.0-litre turbo engine that powered the old rally car, but does away with the traditional yellow lettering in favour of Subaru’s silver and white corporate logo. Hardcore fans panic not: the blue paintwork and iconic gold wheels stay.
