ITEM DESCRIPTION : Up for auction is this original timing chain cover from a 1950 Oldsmobile 88 with the 303 Rocket! It is in used condition and it does need some work. The main seal is there but will have to be replaced. Also the brass tube from the intake manifold broke off, this is shown in pictures #5 and #6. I did not attempt to remove it. Other than those two issues there is no cracks, breaks or signs of repair to the item. This might be correct for 1949 Oldsmobile as well but I am not sure. If shipping is less to your destination a refund for the difference will be issued. Due to the size and weight of the item I will not ship this item outside the lower 48 States. Thu, 01 May 2014Twenty years ago today – 1 May 1994 – the world lost arguably the most talented Formula One driver ever: Ayrton Senna. Numbers alone don’t quite describe the genius the Brazilian driver showed at the wheel of all manner of cars throughout his career, finding time and speed where others simply couldn’t. So, on the 20th anniversary of Senna’s death in a tragic accident at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola – only a day after Roland Ratzenberger, a young Austrian driver and friend of Senna, also sadly lost his life, while qualifying – we’re celebrating the life of one of Formula One’s most charismatic drivers.

It's a four-day smorgasbord of announcements, team-shop tours, optimistic predictions and the unveiling of new race-car paint schemes, team members and sponsorships. More than 150 writers, broadcasters and photographers will get a steady diet of claims such as “we're excited,” “we've been working harder than ever,” “we feel we've got everything in place” and “we can't wait to get started.” The tour will visit almost every team that plans to run the full series schedule in 2011, teams such as Earnhardt-Ganassi, Stewart-Haas, Penske, Michael Waltrip, Richard Childress, Kevin Buckler's TRG, Team Red Bull, Furniture Row, Richard Petty, Hendrick, Roush-Fenway and Joe Gibbs.
