Excellent conditon
Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Fits over visor:Covers automatic transmission Original dealer showroom piece:15 1/5" X 7 1/2"

This is an original 1950 Oldsmobile showroom piece.    It is the instructions on how to operate the new Hydra-matic Drive (automatic transmission) which the dealer placed on the sun visor (drivers side) of all new 1950 Oldsmobile’s equipped with automatic transmission.  It is 15 1/2” X 7 1/2”, 1 piece of newsprint paper folded in the middle & glued on the edge so it fit over the visor).  I got a few of these from an individual who had worked for GM many years ago & had stored these for over 60 years.  They are in excellent condition.  On one side it shows the selector & gives the instructions on when to use Drive, Reverse, Neutral & Low.  On the other side it gives instructions on servicing, oil change & towing.  This is an incredible find, a stunning piece that would look fabulous on a restored 1950 Oldsmobile being shown or judged.  Highly unlikely you will ever see another one of these.   Thanks for looking, please browse our store.
